INVITATION FOR BIDS

1. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of Agro-climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscape (ACReSAL) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for the Procurement of Swamp Buggy (Amphibious Excavator) for Taraba State.
2. The Taraba State Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, represented by the State Project Management Unit (SPMU) of ACReSAL Project now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of Swamp buggy as contained in the table here under.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedure using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” https://thedocs.worldbank.org/en/doc/6c0602876d68949e80820507d90a14ed-0290012023/original/Procurement-Regulations-Febrauary-2023.pdf. (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. A detailed requirement and Specifications are enclosed in the bidding document.

Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Project Procurement Officer, Taraba State Project Management Unit, Agro-climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscape Project, (tarabacresal@yahoo.com)  and inspect the Bidding documents from 10:00am to 4:00pm (local time) Mondays to Fridays excluding public holidays.

A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon submission of written application to the below address and payment of a nonrefundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (NGN 50,000) Only with evidence of payment, payable to;

Bids must be sealed and bear the specific identification of this bidding process and should be delivered to the address below on or before 13^th August 2025. Electronic Bidding WILL NOT be entertained and Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 13^th August 2025 by 12:15PM.
